What’s the most interesting thing you can find on your local craigslist when you search for the phrase “Stage 2"?
Here’s what I found:

“Previous owner sold the original bumper, but I bought it back , it’s just silver now.”
Well ok then.

2 out of 3 have rebuilt titles. Fantastic.

What about a Stage 2 snowblower?

Doesn’t contain “stage 2" in the ad, but it came up under the search soooo...

And who would have thought the Audi was the clean title.
Hey I could have put the autotragic WRX.

I would take that over some of these cars. Here in Pennsylvania I’d occasionally use it too!

I guess the guy that originally bought painted it silver?

Works for me. I’d love to drive that to work as a winter beater.

The Audi being the clean title was a shock.
As for that WRX, I must admit that now that I’m in my 30s, some days I feel like shifting and some days I don’t. So for the right price I’d still take it. But yes, at least in that specific car, an automatic is kind of a bummer.

Supercharged C63... I expected rice when I searched stage 2, not something I want... https://columbia.craigslist.org/cto/d/2009-mercedes-benz-c63-amg/6323682143.html

Probably. It just seems odd that
A. The original owner sold a perfectly good bumper off of his car and then later sold the car to someone else.
B. The new bumper owner repainted it silver, but then also decided to sell it.
C. The guy who bought the car managed to find the guy who bought the bumper, bought it, and slapped it back on the original car without repainting it first. That car would look so much nicer if it matched.

I like it. I usually expect rice or Ford (thanks to the popularity of Roush stage 2 products).

So it comes with a boat anchor?

This Jetta wins for “most interesting obscuring of license plate”
But the winner has to be this “400 WHP” Civic

“Bone Stock Interior” followed by a list of aftermarket gauges and an aftermarket stereo.
I’m sure they have the dyno results to back up that claim...

I like that they brag about a 15 second quarter mile time. I just have a hard time understanding why this car exists.

Someone should email him like “Yo, I’ve got $4,000 cash and a buddy with a dyno. If it pulls 400 hp I’ll hand you the cash on the spot.”

Tell him you’ll pay $10 per hp.
![]() 10/01/2017 at 19:09 |

Nah, because then I still might be out $1,800 on a shitty old Civic. All or nothing

Honestly, could be some potential fun for how cheap it is. As long as you had time to sort out all of the inevitable issues.

It has potential, but I remain skeptical about the no rust claim. It’s a 20 year old car in Michigan, after all.

agreed.
